Disney Teen Sensation Hosting Charity School Supply Drive in Lehi to Benefit The Sunshine Heroes Foundation

Charity improves living conditions and opportunities for children throughout the world

Lehi, UT—The Disney Channel’s Kelli Berglund, “Bree”, from Disney XD’s Lab Rats Elite Force will be hosting a free public event and a $250 personal shopping spree for one lucky contest winner at the third annual Back to School charity event, Saturday, August 6. The event will benefit The Sunshine Heroes Foundation and is hosted by the Outlets at Traverse Mountain.

Berglund, The Outlets and Sunshine Heroes are collecting back to school supplies for Nebo School District, a school district with one of the state’s highest poverty rates. As kids head back to school, basic supplies like pens, pencils, binders, etc. are in high demand in the district. The Outlets at Traverse Mountain will also donate backpacks, clothes and shoes. Donations from the public can be dropped off at the service kiosk at the Outlets.

To promote the event, Berglund is holding a contest for 50 fans to attend a VIP meet & greet and one lucky winner will receive a one-on-one $250 shopping spree with her. The Sunshine Hero Foundation has helped share wellness and transform lives around the world, helping over 350,000 children in 2016 alone.
