Are you a detail-oriented night owl seeking a unique opportunity? The Seasonal Security Officer Overnight Patrol position at Outlets at Traverse Mountain in Lehi, UT, offers an exciting chance to work in a tranquil outdoor environment. Complete nighttime walks getting exercise as you patrol our property, ensuring the security of our property while being aware of your surroundings. We seek reliable and punctual individuals who thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere. With an hourly pay rate of $18.50, this position allows you to enjoy the outdoors while making a meaningful contribution to security initiatives. After an initial 60 days, there is potential to extend your employment and explore different shifts. (2) shifts are available: 2 nights per week or 5 nights per week, 11PM-7AM. SEPTEMBER 2 - NOVEMBER 5. As a Seasonal Security Officer for the Overnight Patrol at Outlets at Traverse Mountain, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and security during the fall season. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Walking and completing post duties outdoors in the shopping center's common areas, providing an extra layer of vigilance. </li><li>You will observe and report any unusual activity, follow designated patrols and responsibilities, and complete special seasonal projects that contribute to a secure environment.</li><li>Engaging with employees and visitors in a professional and helpful manner is essential. </li><li>This detail-oriented position not only requires being aware of your surroundings but also offers the opportunity for proactive problem-solving and teamwork, ensuring that every interaction upholds our standard of excellence.</li></ul> <h6>Qualifications</h6>To excel as a Seasonal Security Officer for the Overnight Patrol at Outlets at Traverse Mountain, certain skills are essential for success in this role. A passion for walking and outdoor activity is crucial, as your primary responsibilities involve patrolling various common areas throughout the shopping center. Being awake and alert during overnight hours is necessary to ensure that you can effectively monitor your surroundings and respond to any incidents. Attention to detail is vital, as you will need to observe any irregularities and report them accurately.Excellent verbal communication skills are essential when interacting with employees and visitors, as well as the ability to produce clear written incident reports when necessary. Reliability and excellent attendance are non-negotiable. Perform with a proactive and professional approach to operations.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:<ul><li>Enjoy walking and outdoor activity. Be awake and alert during the overnight hours as described. Attention to detail. Excellent verbal communicator and able to produce written incident reports when applicable. Reliability and excellent attendance is a necessity. Ability to learn and comprehend policies and procedures relative to security and safety operations.</li></ul>

Traverse Outlets is seeking an individual who is detail-oriented, safety minded, takes pride in a strong work ethic, and enjoys working among the general public - our shoppers. Security Officers will patrol the grounds and buildings of the Shopping Center. Performs a variety of tasks while working under general supervision. Reports any suspicious activity and maintains a security and safety presence while completing walking and driving patrols. Duties include assisting other team members with special projects, as needed. A friendly, customer service oriented skill set is expected working among the public and with other staff. Wage $18.50/HR.
